Summer Botanical Dye Party  @Aspen Botanicals

Join us in this hands-on workshop to play with the beautiful summer flowers and foliage. You will leave with two of your very own, one of a kind, flower dyed creations. We will be dyeing one silk headscarf and one silk square bandana. Preserve the beautiful and fleeting colors of summer on something that will last you forever! No prior experience necessary.

A dye party is different from a class in that it is shorter, and less time is focused on educating and more time is given for playing and hands on experience.

Registration closes July 16th. To register: https://www.aspenbotanicals.com/copy-of-classes

Botanical Printing @Meadowsweet Gifts and Wellness

In this hands-on workshop you will create your very own, one of a kind, botanically dyed piece of fabric using various local flowers and leaves. Botanical printing is a unique form of natural dyeing which produces a clear imprint of the plant onto the fabric. The plant dye is permanent, and will withstand years of washing and wear and tear. Come explore a unique and artistic avenue to work with some of your favorite flowers and medicinal allies.

Materials Included: You will make and take home one large square of botanically dyed fabric. Participants are welcome to bring a special plant from their garden, but keep in mind not all plants will produce dye.
